SUMMER OLYMPIC GAMES 2016 BIDS The timetable leading up to final selection not yet available but applications will probably be made some time during 2007. Once interested cities have had their nominations accepted by the NOC (National Olympic Committe) things will be set in motion for the selection of the Host City for 2016 Olympic Games & Paralympics. Bids will probably be presented by cities in the following countries: Germany India Italy Kenya Russia UAE USA It is, however, early days yet and there are sure to be additions to the list or , possibly, withdrawals. Bidding to host the Olympics is a serious commitment and not something to be taken lightly.
